New and Improved bookmarklet

Saturday, September 30th, 2006

So I took a peek at Google’s new reader bookmarklet (or has it been around a while?) and liked what they were doing with verifying that there was actually a “+xml” alternate link in the page before wasting cycles on the other side, so I used it as a base and tweaked it a bit for my liking.

As usual, feedback welcome.

[UPDATE] if you have issues going to “my account”, logout, then log back in and you should be ok, sorry.

Login with your Yahoo! id

Saturday, September 30th, 2006

So Yahoo! released BBAuth (Browser Based Authentication) and I thought, hrm, why not. So you can now login to Feed Harvest without creating an account using your Yahoo! id, though odds are good if you are readng this you already have a Feed Harvest account.

Feedback is always welcome.

Is that crickets I hear??

Ok, It’s been quiet for a long time, a very long time. Sometimes life happens.

Anyway, we’ve made a few changes here and there, the “harvester” has been updated and is doing a better job of keeping feeds upated. There have been a few other changes as well, nothing huge.

Just wanted to let people know that we are still here and haven’t fallen off the planet.
